Statuesque

  • Identity, wayfinding, website, catalogue, and various print applications for an outdoor sculpture show in lower Manhattan curated by The Public Art Fund.

The show featured what curators recognized as a resurgence of figurative sculpture among contemporary sculptors. Now though, the human form was celebrated as a mangled, contorted thing. The identity similarly subverts a typeface drawn from letterforms on sculptural inscriptions, making it more hefty and 3-D than the original. In collaboration with Linked by Air.
